This project is a collaboration with Meta (formerly known as Facebook) and Alte Nationalgalerie Berlin, for the project "Magical Reflections" (magische spiegelungen). This is a VR/XR experience and can be found on https://www.magische-spiegelungen.de/.
Magical reflections shows the work of the artist Johann Erdmann Hummel. The viewer can step into his painting “The Granite Dish” (Die Granitschale im Berliner Lustgarten). In this painting the visitor can do virtual photography.
For this collaboration I did virtual photography, and these photographs I reused for new work. With my final series I am exploring feminism and the role of the women in the painting by Johann Erdmann Hummel.
